CA Intermediate is the second stage of the CA certification process. Candidates who successfully completed the CA foundation level are qualified for the CA Intermediate Course and can enrol on the ICAI’s official website. Intermediate exams are conducted twice a year, and candidates willing to appear in November 2023 session should check important dates. Below are important dates for November 2023-07-18

CA Intermediate eligibility criteria-
Students can register for CA intermediate course in two ways. The first way is to appear at the CA foundation level, and the second is a direct entry route after graduation. Below are details of both entry routes-
Through CA foundation level-
Students who have cleared the CA foundation exam or CPT level are eligible to register for CA intercourse for any group. They can register for the CA inter-level by paying intermediate registration fees. Candidates appearing for CA intermediate exam through CPT entry have to complete a mandatory study period before the first day of the CA intermediate exam month is scheduled to be conducted.
Through Direct Entry Route-
Candidates who have graduation and PG degree are eligible to appear in CA inter exam directly. For direct entry, they must fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below-
Candidates with a commerce graduate or PG degree and a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply for CA intermediate course directly.
Candidates who do not hold a commerce degree or a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks are qualified to apply directly for the CA intermediate course.
Direct entry route candidates are required to complete 09 months of the mandatory study period on or before the first day of the month in which the exam is to be conducted.
CA Intermediate fees-
The total fee for the CA intermediate course for both groups of Indian students is INR 20,700. Fees for the single group if INR 14,500. For foreign students, the total fee for both groups is $1500 and for a single group is $925. Below is a complete table for CA intermediate course-

Direct entry students have to under compulsory ITT and OP training before CA intermediate course registration. Each training if for 15 days, and the fee for ITT training is INR 6500, and OP training is INR 7000, including study material.
CA exam form fees-
Candidates who have registered for the CA inter-course are needed to fill examination form released on the official website by ICAI. Below are the CA Intermediate fees for the exam form-
